Guided Meditations for Teens

Each of these meditations can be used for mindfulness and mindful self compassion practices.
     MLK Day Meditation

Soothing Touch Lesson 1

Human touch is essential for all people. It is also very helpful as a tool for self care. It releases oxytocin, the feel good hormone. This makes this meditation very portable- it can be done anywhere, anytime! Try it when you notice you are in need of some TLC.

Loving Kindness

This meditation helps us build a connection to caring for others and then for ourselves. By finding self care phrases that have meaning to you, you can use these phrases to build the self compassion muscle. Use these phrases daily, as a part of your daily mindfulness practice and see what happens!

A Moment for Me Lesson One

  • Saying- "This is hard."
  • Acknowledging that everyone struggles at one time or another.
  • Offering yourself a soothing touch.
  • Saying to yourself "May I be Kind to myself."
  • Giving ourself some kind words.
